The August 2008 issue of Better Roads magazine provides an excellent look at the different aspects of modifying asphalts. MARC and UW-Madison's research contributions appear on page 4 of the PDF: Modifiers a Must in a World of High-Performance Asphalt.

In May 2008, CNET News featured the University of Wisconsin’s efforts through MARC and the Asphalt Research Consortium to help increase the use of recycled asphalt materials and improve the energy efficiency of asphalt. The story appears on CNET: Paving the way for greener asphalt.

In February 2008, the UW College of Engineering published a news story on the goals and the most recent activities of MARC and the Asphalt Research Consortium: Where the rubber meets the road: Wisconsin asphalt research yields energy savings.

A September 2007 College of Engineering news item introduced Dr. Bahia's modified asphalt research efforts at UW: Finely tuned asphalt mixes may reduce roadway wear.
